Adopt a Corgi / Chihuahua / Mixed

Meet Lola, a 4 year old corgi/chihuahua mix. She is a unique mixture of breeds which always stimulates conversation. She is 18 pounds of pure lap dog and loves to snuggle. She has a squeaky toy that she carries around with her and she loves to go on walks! She is good on a leash and is mostly potty trained, though her foster mom is still working on this and an adopter will need to be committed to this training as well. For this reason, we do not recommend Lola live in an apartment. Lola has been nose to nose with a cat without much interest and has done well with other dogs, though she may prefer to be the apple of her owners eye since she loves to be loved! She was introduced to the dog park and preferred digging and cuddling with the humans to playing with the dogs.

Lola is a very affectionate girl and loves to be reminded that her people are her anchor. She would be a wonderful pet for a retired couple or someone that works from home, as she loves spending time with her family. She gets very attached to her person and can be protective when in the home. She may need to be crated when new guests come over so she does not try to guard her family. Lola is a good eater and enjoys dry and wet food. She loves to play fetch with her squeaky toy! She can be vocal sometimes, whining and singing the song of her people, much like other little dogs. She is a very sweet, special girl and is looking for the right home!

Lola is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and on her monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Her adoption fee is $225.
